Anonymous asked: Think Lin has that much talent? I mean he outplayed D.Will & carried the Knicks last night.

*Siiiiiiiiiiiiiigh* I need to see more than 2 games to know if this kid is legit. I have seen a number of players (guards in particular) come out strong or have a real strong stretch and then disappear (remember Troy Hudson or Bobby Jackson?). Dude has taken more shots than Melo and Amare (who I know both more or less didn’t play against Utah) which is NOT what the Knicks want. For the record, I thought the Carmelo trade was TERRIBLE for the Knicks. They should have just waited and tried to get CP3 in either free agency or a trade. That said, Lin has super solid fundamentals which is always good and he is a smart player. We will see how he is looking once he is on a couple of scouting reports or plays against PGs that actually give two shits about the team they are on (I’m looking at you, Deron). The better question is how Kevin Martin has been averaging over 20 PPG for the past 8 or so seasons with a solid 45% FG average and no team has made a serious move to add him to a roster. Kevin Martin is what LeBron needed in Cleveland, not Mo Williams or Antwan Jameson.
